Proper care and safety information.

GEO Circle lenses and conventional lenses.

Conventional lenses and Circle lenses are indeed quite similar. However, Circle lenses should not be used as a direct replacement for conventional contacts. Circle lenses are for cosmetic purposes to enhance the appearance of your eyes, while conventional lenses are for daily usage to enhance your vision. Circle contact lenses contain a darker outer ring, this will give the appearance of a much larger iris. All circle lenses have a life expectancy of up to 1 year. Like conventional lenses, is it not recommended to wear them for more than 8 hours on a single day. It is recommended that you replace the lenses on a regular basis to prevent protein buildup. Below you will find a few ways on how to take proper care of your GEO Circle contact lens.

Before putting on your lenses.

Be sure to keep your fingertips clean at all times before you handling your circle lenses. Wait until you've put on your lenses before applying lotions or cosmetics!

How to insert your lenses.

Place the lens on the tip of your clean index finger, then check to see if the lens is a perfect bowl-like shape. This ensures the lens is not flipped inside out. Make sure the lense is free of dirt or any particles before inserting. Gently pull your upper and lower eyelids back, and insert the lense so it hugs your iris. Don't panic if it's out of place, simply massage your eyes gently until the lens shifts into a good fit.

Taking out the lenses.

To take your lenses off, use the pinching technique. Try to position your eye to look straight, then use your thumb and index finger to lightly pinch the circle lens off your eye.

Choosing lens solutions.

We personally recommend using Opti-Free. However, everyone's eyes are different, and if you have sensitive eyes, some solutions may sting. Always speak with your eye care practitioner before using any eye products, and ask for a good contact solution suitable for your eyes.

Getting your lenses squeaky clean.

First, open up your lens case and rinse it out with fresh contact solution (not water, it's not sterile!). Now hold one of the lenses with your clean fingers and rinse it with contact solution. Then place the lens in the case fill it all the way up with solution. Rinse, and repeat with other lens. Let the lenses sit overnight and they're ready to wear again!

About our lenses.

Rest assured, our GEO lenses are Health Canada certified, KFDA and US FDA 510(k) approved and safe for everyday use! However, they are designed for cosmetic purposes, and are not intended to replace conventional contact lenses or glasses. If you experience any discomfort, take out your lenses immediately, and consult your optometrist or eye care professional as required.
